Established September 18, 1877

Christ Episcopal Church is one of the oldest churches in Cape Girardeau and will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2027.

For nearly a century and a half, Christ Church has remained rooted in Downtown Cape Girardeau — gathering for worship, serving neighbors, and continuing a story shaped by faith, resilience, and community.
